52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown: April Color Challenge

It was a colour challenge over at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwndown this week and I have managed to use 4 of the 6 colours in the pallet. I am not mad about this card as it was different in my head but it is growing on me, I think I would send this to a blokie as it is not the usual christmassy colours. I am loving the mini ink blending tools though, much easier to use than the rectangular ones.

Here is my effort.

And here is the colour combo.

Clearly Besotted Challenge 10 Spring

I just love the Fresh Flowers stamp and die set, I had already made a card for the Let's Craft and Create Challenge and was really pleased with how it turned out so I made another 3 cards using the rest of the flower designs in the set. I am going to enter these into the Clearly Besotted Challenge 10 – Spring.

Thanks for looking, Lorry :o) xx

Ingredients:
Stamps: Fresh Flowers, Butterfly Wishes and Happy Days from Clearly Besotted, Big Sentiments from Personal Impressions.
Background Papers: Basics DSP from Stampin' Up! and some made up on my computer and printed out at home.
Dies: Fresh Flowers from Clearly Besotted.
Embellishments: Sequins from Hobby Craft.
Promarkers: Ivory, Buttercup, Gold, Pumpkin, Pink Carnation, Mulberry, Fresh Bloom, Maroon, Peony, Purple, Leaf Green, Green and Forest Green.

LCC #91 – Punches and Dies

Over at Let's Craft and Create this months challenge is Punches and Dies. This was the perfect excuse to ink up the brand new Fresh Flowers stamp and Dies set from Clearly Besotted I had just received in the post.

When I showed my son Max the lily of the valley stamp he said "That's a nice bluebell", so I just had to colour it in blues.

Happy Bunny

I am a happy bunny today, I have just found out that I have been picked as the weekly winner over at Always Playing with Paper and also got top honors over at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown, to say I am a bit pleased is an understatement!

Thanks for looking, Lorry :o) xx

Here is the card for Always Playing with Paper.

Cutting it a bit fine!

Here is my entry for the Always Playing with Paper #3: Sketch. I am cutting it a bit fine, I got in with just 32 minutes to spare!

I got the new mini ink blending tools from Ranger as I was having a bit of trouble with the rectangular version. I have found the mini ones easier to use as they are round and seem to blend a lot better, even if you are heavy handed like me.

Less is More: Lucky Dip Week 165

Back again with another challenge card, second of the day (scroll down for the other one). This one is for the Less is More: Lucky Dip Week 165 Round and Round challenge. This was almost a one layer card, the sentiment strip is the only other layer, oh and the embellies, do they count? It was going to be a totally masculine card until I put a couple of sequins on it, oh well I will just have to send it to a blokie in touch with his feminine side!

Thanks for looking, Lorry :o) xx

Ingredients:
Stamps: Circle Circus from Stampin' Up! Blooming Marvellous, You Are and Happy Days from Clearly Besotted and Circle Friends from Simon Says Stamp.
Embellishments: Flat back gems from Hobby Craft and Sequins from Into The Woods collection from Lawn Fawn.

Hi there, I'm still trying to keep up with the card challenge thing, which is a challenge in itself! Thanks for looking, Lorry :o) xx
